Virtual Field Trip to Malawi and Plural Nouns!

What would you do if the CEO of the organization Educate Malawi came to your school to pick up the letters you wrote to your new Malawian friends? You'd go on a virtual field trip!! And that's just what we did, with the help of Google Earth! Karen Hardy took time out of her busy day to hand deliver our letters! Their journey begins at SES and will finally end in Malawi, Africa! As if THAT wasn't enough, we learned a new word study rule, plural nouns. Adding s or es to base words can make the word a plural noun (more than one)! In math we practiced calendar math, and made March calendars! Julienne ended the day with a wonderful math meeting! Well done Julienne! Outstanding! Tomorrow, PE, sneakers please.
