Congratulation Polka Dancers!

What a great job the second grade polka dancers did! Great night for all, thanks PTO and all who helped bring this evening to our little school! All ages, all dancing, all night, all smiles!
We're moving out of our time unit in math, and moving into a geometry unit this week, starting with solids on Monday. To maintain our skills in time and reading analog and digital clocks, I will add a tiny new job onto their homework packet. Instead of writing spelling words, I will ask them to write the time (analog and digital) that they did their homework. We will practice in school, and everyone should be able to do this at home.
Our letters from Malawi should arrive soon, and we can't wait to share the fruits of our friendship pin service-project with Karen. She's incredibly impressed with how our students have invested themselves in this project for our Malawi pen pals! I must agree... Well done second graders (and 4th grade buddies)!
Looking forward to another great week!
