Howdy Folks! Another great day started with our "behind-the-back-koosh" greeting! Oh Susannah (also known as "Oh, Mackenzie") was our new song today, and it was great! We learned some new centers (Scholastic News, Puzzles) and are even closer to our first work board... YAY!! We also learned the second grade way to make spelling cards, choose spelling and folder words, and where we organize our spelling! We finished writing about our hopes and dreams... what we hope to learn this year, and have our posters proudly displayed in our classroom! We will honor Swimmy tomorrow morning, and thank Mary for allowing us to sign her beautiful picture... a promise to always remember our short lived but wonderful classroom fish! Hope homework and reading is going well at home. We've been practicing and reviewing this procedure at school, so hopefully students will feel ready and excited to share their work at home with Ms. Worthley! Ethan did another super awesome job as our math meeting helper, and ran a very efficient, productive meeting! Who knew there were so many ways to make "15" in money (thanks Charlie)! Looking forward to Thursday, and another day of fun and learning with this special group of friends!
