Greetings Friends! This week we continued to establish our routines... one of which is homework. This week students have "talking, drawing, and writing" homework. The goal of homework this week is to create a dialogue between you and your student regarding school (likes, dislikes, special moments, new routines) and to put their "thinking" into talking and communicating with grown ups at home. I've encouraged students to check the blog from home (with you) and to use the pictures to encourage a dialogue between you and your student! So, this week... talk to your student about school! Homework is due on Friday. While this isn't a typical homework assignment, it's very appropriate when the goal is to foster home-school connections. Enjoy!
