Another great day... full of unexpected surprises! In reading workshop we continued our work on reading and thinking... and writing about what we read! Franklin provided a wonderful version of a "first day at school" and we learned how to "retell" the story using "transition words" (first, second, then, next, finally...).
The afternoon was spent making our glyphs... following a super-secret code and using scissors and glue sticks the second grade way! One great day spent with a special group of second graders! Well done 2W!!
