Veterans Day Celebration!

Many things happened today.... We celebrated Kirsten's birthday with chocolate and vanilla pudding, we worked on writing our stories, we were quiet readers, and we practiced our spelling rule... but perhaps, most important, we honored the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country! Our Nation's finest stopped everything in their important lives to share this special day with us. We were visited by the Air Force branch of our military, and they answered many questions, and talked about their service. Very special! How lucky is our little school, to have the opportunity to visit with and honor the best and the bravest! We were even treated to a fly-over by a Westover Air Force Base C-5!! Wow! Very impressive. Great day friends!
