Browsing Boxes and Even Numbers!

Howdy Friends! We started the day catching up on work board and accomplished a lot! Nice! Reading groups met with teachers, and the morning was very productive, business as usual! Just the way we like it! We worked in our W.O.W! Journals in math and deconstructed the word "even number"! We dug deep.... writing what the word means, showing our thinking in a picture, using it in a complete sentence (in context) and sharing our thinking! Many different answers, many different ways of thinking, and many different ways of understanding our Word of the Week! OUTSTANDING! We practiced our spelling words and read them out loud like a "rock star", an "army sergeant", and an "opera singer"! Wow! Our spelling words never sounded so good! We've added some browsing boxes to our quiet reading time... Christopher Columbus books, and Halloween/October books! Nothing like some new books to rev up our quiet reading time! We ended the day in PE with Ms. Gebo! Great Thursday! Homework folders tomorrow friends! Get ready for FUN FRIDAY!!
