What a full busy week! Our new math unit on geometry is full of lots of tough new vocabulary, extremely cool solids and shapes, and amazing connections to every day objects in the real world! We'll stretch our learning with more new geometric concepts this week... congruence and symmetry! And yes, geometry ROCKS!! Olivia ran another fabulous math meeting, and Ethan's morning meeting was a great way to start the day. Students practiced their rendition of "Rockin Robin" for Mr. Hines, and every student in 2W will perform it in this Wednesday's Cafe Sun, so mark your calendars... you'll want to be there!
Sunderland enjoyed an all school sing this afternoon with songs about the continents, Oh Mr. Sun, Down by the Bay, and Daddy's Taking Us to the Zoo, all familiar 2W favorites! Great ending to a fantastic Wednesday!
