Oooops! Forgot the camera in school today, and will post pictures tomorrow. Never the less, we had a wonderful day! We wrote in our dialogue journals (for the first time). This is truly journal writing... completely private, never graded or shared, but the rule is... YOU MUST BE WRITING! It's usually a favorite way to practice the writing process, and we will write in our dialogue journals often!
We also began writing our very own "Doubles" riddle book in math, to help reinforce our learning about "doubles" (4+4...3+3...7+7...) and talked about how we can become better math thinkers when we know our doubles! Very fun!
Olivia R. had a super awesome morning meeting... well done Olivia! And Rebecca also lead an equally great math meeting... with Mr. Howell joining us! The more the merrier! Well done Rebecca!
We ended the day with our first "All School Sing"! We sing every day in 2W... but it's always special to get together with our school community and sing Together! Songs we learned today included Sandwiches, You Ain't Nothing But A Hound Dog, and Bazooka Bubblegum, to name a few! Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for PICTURE DAY! Come as you are... with a smile... of course!
